Equinta is an officially recognized center for artificial insemination (AI), embryo transfer (ET) and semen collecting. The company was founded in 2006 by veterinary surgeon Ward De Bie. At home approximately a hundredth well selected surrogate mothers are available. Therefore the collected embryos can be transplanted immediately and without transporting in the appropriate carrying mother.Furthermore we foresee stabling possibility for approximately thirty mares. Because of that we can assist your mare more efficient, for both insemination with fresh or frozen semen, or ET.
Veterinarian Ward De Bie
Ward De Bie graduated in 2004 as a veterinary surgeon. He was honored with the “Price of the University of Ghent” as he finished university as the student with the best results during the whole course of his schooling. Ward has chosen “The Diagnose of Navicular Disease with Horses” as the subject of his premise.After finishing university, his interest was immediately caught by the procreation of the horse. Ward gained experience at Joris De Brabander’s ET and AI center and started off his own procreation center Equinta in 2006.
In the meantime Ward also made a career as a show jumping rider. Therefore he’s able to give the best advice to his clients finding the right stallions for the mares.
